Pilates Portlaoise: Pilates is a unique form of physical exercise that focuses on posture, core stability, balance, control, strength, flexibility, and breathing.
Core strength involves the deep muscles of the abdomen and back working together to provide strength to the body and also extra support for the spine. It corrects abnormal patterns of movement and improves posture and muscle balance in everyday life. Good posture, muscle control and flexibility alongside general fitness can be the key to avoiding a significant number of musculoskeletal disorders. Pilates, unlike other forms of exercise is a total conditioning program that works on the muscle control and body awareness. There are a number of approaches to Pilates that vary in difficulty and skill level.
